I have been a dental assistant for over 25 years and have spent the majority of my career in the treatment of patients with any dental conditions. I always knew that I wanted to work in the dental care field. It is very gratifying for me as a Registered Dental Assistant to give care to my patients in a calm caring atmosphere where their comfort and well being is the main concern.
I graduated in 1989 from the San Jose College in California with licencees as a Registered Dental Assistant also as a Radiology Technician and several other certifications in the dentistry field.
I have been passionate about patient education and utmost care ever since. I am thankful every day to be part of Dr. Martin G. Garcia’s team at
South Flores Family Dental where patients are treated as people not just teeth.
Marina has been in the dental industry for 20 years .She loves her job, especially working with our patients and getting to know them on a personal level. For Marina, the best thing about her job is getting to meet so many interesting people!
Marina grew up in South Texas and went to Laredo Nixon High. When she isn’t with our patients at the office, she likes music, taking photos, cooking, and traveling.
I have been a dental hygienist in private practice for the last five years. Prior to private practice and graduating from the University of Texas Health Science Center, I retired from the Army after 20 years as a Preventive Dentistry Specialist. I enjoy the outdoors spending my time camping, kayaking, hiking, and exploring new places and spending the majority of my free time fishing and walking my dog, Zeek at the park.
I really enjoy giving my patients the best possible treatment that they need so that they may enjoy not only healthy teeth, but a healthy smile as well.
